Prinzessinnengärten – Urban Farming in the heart of Kreuzberg

Nomadisch Grün (Nomadic Green) launched in the year 2009 Prinzessinnengärten (Princess gardens) as a pilot project at Moritzplatz in Berlin Kreuzberg,

The site had been a waste land for nearly half of a century. Together with fans, neighbors and friends this project made it possible to clean the rubbish, grow organic vegetable and fruits. Urban Farming at its best in the heart of Kreuzberg.

During the year 2012, this project was facing to shut down this successful undertaking, but with bringing this to public attention, now it seems that a growing future for Prinzessinnengärten is on its way. There is also possibility of Crowd Funding taking place.
