reSITE here we come!

Team Urbalize is off to the reSITE festival today in Prague.

Before heading out, we want to share a dose of the latest stories and inspirations we will perhaps chat about with friendly people that we meet at reSITE 🙂

1).) You Say City

With the aim of public participation, this 3D online platform lets users  share, discuss and visualize ideas. Urbalize is a big support of collaboration, and info sharing, the more we help each other along the process, the better our collective futures.

2.) Stamen

Cartography experts, present an easy to use and beautiful tool for representing map data. Check out your city!

3. Thor ter Kulve

Reveal, Expand, Reflect, Engage – the motto of Dutch designer Thor ter Kulve a believer in the slow design movement. Take a look at this temporary thought provoking  projects, that bring charm to the mundane.

4.) Urban Explorer

Check out the video of this huge interactive tablet, the Urban Explorer Table 2 was developed by Interactive Institute Swedish ICT together with the city planning office of Norrköping in Sweden in close collaboration with Visualisation Centre C, Hyresbostäder in Norrköping and City Planning Office of Gothenburg.

5.) Street Art Projects

Our friends at the Urban times draw up a nice piece about street artists that play with the scale of the city, and make us think closer about our environments.
